What is the Globally Certified Anti Money Laundering Investigator (G-CAMI) certification?
An AML certification for investigators, awarded by The Global Association of Certified KYC Specialists (Global AKS). It covers how money is laundered and terrorism financed and how it is detected: risk assessment across financial institutions and high-risk industries, enhanced due diligence, suspicious activity reporting, international AML/CFT standards, and conducting and responding to investigations.
What is the fee?
$410.00, reduced from $560.00. The fee is all-inclusive — the study e-book, two mock attempts, two final attempts, and the digital certificate on passing. There is nothing further to pay unless you need an extra examination attempt.
What study materials are provided?
A downloadable study e-book covering the full G-CAMI syllabus, in 17 modules and 95 chapters, available as soon as you enrol. Before enrolling, you can read the full syllabus on the Syllabus tab.
What is the format of the final examination?
100 multiple-choice questions in 100 minutes, taken entirely online, with a passing score of 85%. A correct answer scores +1, an incorrect answer 0, and a skipped question −1.
How many attempts do I have?
Two mock attempts and two final attempts are included. If you use both final attempts, you can buy another for $19 USD directly — the option appears on your result screen, with no email and no waiting.
What if I do not pass either final attempt?
You can buy an additional attempt for $19 USD straight from your result screen — no email, no waiting. Your access to the study material is unaffected.
Can I sit the examination on the day I enrol?
Yes. There is no waiting period — the examination is available as soon as you enrol, and you may take it whenever you are ready.
Are there any prerequisites?
None. You need a desktop, laptop or mobile device with an internet connection.
How will I receive the certificate?
On passing, the digital certificate is issued instantly, with a unique credential ID. It is emailed to you and always available from your account.
How long does access to the material last?
Lifetime, including updates to the study e-book.
How long is the certification valid?
Two years from the date of issue.
Is recertification required, and how does it work?
Yes — renewal is required every two years, for a renewal fee of US$103. We write to you before your credential expires.
Can an employer verify my credential?
Yes. Anyone can check a G-CAMI credential instantly on the verification portal using the credential ID — no account needed.
