Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of globalaks.com, the Global AKS learner platform, and every certification, examination and credential issued by The Global Association of Certified KYC Specialists. By registering, enrolling or paying, you agree to them.
Effective 7 October 2026 · Supersedes the version dated 2 November 2025
Our material is yours to study, and yours alone
Global AKS study books, question banks, examination papers and certificate designs may not be copied, shared, republished or used to train any system without written permission.
A credential certifies that you passed our examination. If you circulate the study book, the questions or a paper to anyone else, you have undermined the thing your own certificate rests on — and we will revoke it. Section 6 sets out exactly how.
1. These terms, and who they are with
“Global AKS”, “we” and “us” mean The Global Association of Certified KYC Specialists, which develops, examines and issues the certifications offered on this site. “You” means the person registering, enrolling or holding a credential.
These terms apply together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, both of which form part of the agreement between us. If you do not accept them, do not register, enrol or pay.
2. Your account
- Our certifications are professional qualifications for adults. You must be 18 or over to register;
- An account is personal to one individual. You may not share sign‑in access, sit an examination on someone else’s behalf, or allow anyone else to sit one on yours;
- The details you give us must be accurate, and the name you confirm for your certificate must be your own;
- You are responsible for anything done through your account. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access to it.
3. What an enrolment includes
One fee, one complete purchase: the study e‑booklet for the credential, two mock examination attempts, two final examination attempts, and the certificate with its verifiable credential ID on passing. Everything is delivered the moment payment succeeds; nothing is held back and charged later.
Access to the study material is for life. The credential itself is valid for 24 months and may be renewed. Because delivery is immediate and complete, service is treated as performed at the point of enrolment, whether or not you have signed in.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this site and on the learner platform — study books and e‑booklets, question banks, examination papers, model answers, syllabuses, certificate and seal designs, the Global AKS name, logos and credential designations, and every graphic, text and layout — is owned by Global AKS or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.
Global AKS study books, question banks, examination papers and certificate designs may not be copied, shared, republished or used to train any system without written permission.
On enrolling you receive a limited, personal, non‑exclusive and non‑transferable licence to use the material for your own study and professional development. The licence gives you no ownership of anything, and it does not permit you to:
- Copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post or redistribute the material, in whole or in part, in any medium;
- Share it with a colleague, a study group, a messaging group, a forum, a file‑sharing service, a cloud drive or any other person or platform;
- Sell, resell, rent, sublicense or otherwise commercially exploit it;
- Use it to teach, train, coach or prepare anyone else, whether paid or unpaid;
- Reproduce, transcribe, screenshot, photograph, recite or summarise examination questions anywhere outside the examination itself;
- Supply it to, or use it to train, develop, fine‑tune, evaluate or prompt any artificial intelligence, machine learning or automated system, including uploading it to any such tool;
- Remove, obscure or alter any copyright notice, watermark, credential ID or identifying mark;
- Use the Global AKS name, logos, seals or certificate designs without written authorisation.
Each copy of a study e‑booklet is issued to an identified learner. Where material is found in circulation, we will identify the account it came from.
5. Examination conduct
An examination result means something only if everyone sat it under the same conditions. You must not:
- Have anyone else sit, assist with or complete any part of a paper for you;
- Record, copy, transmit or publish any question, option or answer from a paper, during or after it;
- Seek or use questions, answer keys or “dumps” obtained from any source other than the study material;
- Use any automated tool, script or software to attempt, assist with or extract a paper;
- Open multiple sittings, interfere with the examination timer, or attempt to manipulate marking;
- Misrepresent your identity at any point before, during or after an examination.
6. Revocation of a credential
A Global AKS credential is withdrawn where we are satisfied, on the evidence, that a holder has done any of the following:
- Shared or circulated the study e‑booklet — sent, uploaded, posted, forwarded or otherwise made it available to any other person, group or platform;
- Disclosed examination content — reproduced, transmitted or published questions, options or answers from a mock or final paper;
- Supplied our material to an AI or automated system, or used it to train or develop one;
- Published, resold or commercially exploited any Global AKS material;
- Cheated in, or assisted another person to cheat in, any examination;
- Obtained the credential by misrepresenting identity or eligibility;
- Forged, altered or misrepresented a certificate, credential ID or designation;
- Continued to claim a credential that has expired or already been withdrawn.
What revocation means
- The credential ceases to be valid immediately, and verification of its ID will show it as revoked;
- You must stop using the designation at once, and remove it from CVs, profiles, signatures and professional listings;
- No fee is refunded, in whole or in part;
- Platform access and any remaining examination entitlements are withdrawn;
- Where an employer or regulator verifies the credential afterwards, they will see that it is no longer in force;
- We may decline to certify you in future.
How it is decided
We write to you at your registered address setting out what we have found and the evidence for it, and you have 14 days to answer before a final decision is made. Where the integrity of a live examination is at risk, a credential may be suspended while the matter is reviewed. A decision to revoke may be appealed once, in writing, to [email protected] within 30 days.
Revocation does not limit any other remedy. Unauthorised copying or distribution of our material is an infringement of copyright, and we reserve every right we have in law to pursue it, including against an employer or organisation that benefits from it.
7. Using your credential
While your credential is valid you may use its designation after your name, state it on your CV and professional profiles, and give your credential ID to anyone who wishes to verify it. We encourage you to.
You may not use it after it expires or is withdrawn, claim a credential you do not hold, imply that Global AKS endorses your employer or your work, or alter a certificate in any way. Misrepresenting credential status is grounds for withdrawal under section 6 and, where appropriate, for public invalidation.
8. Acceptable use of the platform
- Do not disrupt, overload or interfere with the site, the platform or their security;
- Do not attempt to access systems, data or accounts you are not entitled to;
- Do not scrape, crawl or extract content by automated means;
- Do not impersonate Global AKS, its staff or its signatories.
9. Fees, payment and refunds
Prices are shown in your chosen currency before payment and include everything the enrolment covers. Payment is taken by our payment processors; we never see or store your card details.
Enrolments are final and not refundable. The narrow circumstances in which money is returned — duplicate payment, payment taken without enrolment, and a charge made in error by us — are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Group and corporate enrolment
Where an organisation buys seats for its people, each seat is an individual enrolment subject to these terms, and each learner holds their own account and their own credential. A seat is allocated to one named individual and may not be moved to another person once it has been claimed. Unclaimed and unused seats are not refundable. The organisation is responsible for ensuring its people comply with sections 4, 5 and 8, and material shared beyond the seats purchased is a breach by both the individual and the organisation.
11. Accreditation and third‑party names
Our credentials hold ONRIGA Gold‑tier accreditation and American CBM accreditation, and the G‑CFES designation is listed on FINRA’s Professional Designations Database. Accreditation and listing attest to the standard of the credential. They are not an endorsement of any individual holder, and they do not make a credential a licence, a regulatory authorisation or a requirement of any regulator.
Where we display the name or logo of an organisation at which certified professionals work, it is for information only and implies no partnership or endorsement unless we say so expressly. Removal may be requested at [email protected].
12. What we do and do not promise
We stand behind the authenticity of every credential we issue and the accuracy of the material we publish, and we correct errors when they are found. Beyond that, content is provided as it stands and is updated from time to time.
- A certification does not guarantee employment, promotion, salary or regulatory approval;
- Nothing on this site is legal, financial, regulatory or professional advice;
- You are responsible for how you apply and represent your credential in your own professional context;
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and the platform may be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Global AKS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the site or the services, including loss of opportunity, profit or reputation, or loss caused by interruption of access. Where we are found liable despite this, our total liability is limited to the fee you paid for the enrolment in question. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Global AKS and its affiliates against any claim, loss or cost arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site or the material, your infringement of our intellectual property, or your misrepresentation of credential status.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, withdraw access and revoke a credential where these terms are breached, where a payment is disputed or reversed on a delivered service, or where continued access presents a risk to the integrity of our examinations. No fee is refunded on termination for breach. Sections 4, 6, 13, 14 and 17 survive the end of this agreement.
16. Changes, severability and policy order
We may revise these terms to reflect operational or regulatory change. The version published at the time of your enrolment governs that enrolment. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest continues in force.
Where documents conflict: the Refund Policy governs refunds and cancellations; the Privacy Policy governs personal data; these terms govern everything else.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, save that nothing here deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory law in their own country of residence.
Before any formal step, write to us. Almost everything is resolved by doing so, and far faster. Support first, then [email protected] if the matter remains open.
